Admission
Admission to Crosshill Community Preschool will not be denied on the basis of race, color, sex, religious beliefs, or ethnicity. Admission is open only to preschool age children who are toilet trained. Children must be 3 years old before December 1 to enroll in the 3-year-old program. Children must be 4 years old before December 1 to enroll in the 4-year-old program. For admission to the Pre-K program, children who will be attending Kindergarten the following year (age 4 or 5 as of December 1) will be accepted. Priority for enrollment will be given to returning students. The preschool will determine class sizes based on children’s ages, enrollment, and staff.
To guarantee enrollment for the fall, a student must be verified with the Enrollment Chairperson. All students, new and returning, are required to pay a non-refundable $50.00 registration fee in addition to tuition. Families who apply by June 30 will have the registration fee credited toward the year's first tuition payment. When the registration fee is received, along with the Application for Admission form, the child is officially on the enrollment list for the session. A child will not be considered registered the fee and form are received.
