General Program Information
A thematic approach to curriculum is used in which activities are organized around a topic, allowing children to be exposed to new ideas, develop new skills, or practice acquired abilities. During activity time, children have an opportunity to pretend through socio-dramatic play and use construction materials and manipulatives. Children may explore a variety of art media to encourage creativity and fine motor skills. Themes, which incorporate pre-math, science, and literacy skills, are integrated into each activity time.

Daily group time includes a story, music, rhythmic movement, rhymes, and fingerplays. The theme or lesson of the day is discussed at this time.
In addition to an active learning environment, physical activity is offered in our gym or on our playground when weather permits.
