Family Involvement
We understand that a strong family is critical to the healthy growth and development of children. To celebrate the importance of family to our young ones, Crosshill hosts several family-centered events including a Fall Get-Acquainted Night, annual Mom’s Day and Dad’s Day parties, a “Bring a Special Person to School” day and a Graduation Celebration.

Parents are further encouraged to participate in their child’s preschool experience by volunteering in the classroom two to three times during each 17-week session. We encourage parents to share skills, interests, and cultural heritage with our children.
Additionally, Crosshill Preschool has a parent-run school board. Families are encouraged to attend monthly meetings and volunteer for school board offices, committees, and events. Becoming involved in the school board provides an excellent opportunity to meet other parents, contribute to the quality of the program, and provide leadership for the school.
