Pre-K Program

The Pre-K Program is held Monday through Friday, in the afternoon. A literacy emphasis emerges from a theme-based curriculum. The children are exposed to letters, letter sounds, reading readiness, and beginning writing skills. Children will have extended experiences with pre-math skills, science, and the creative and aesthetic areas of music and art. Personal maturity, responsibility, self-control, respect for others, and cooperation are stressed.

This program is designed for children who will be attending kindergarten the following year. A five half-day program is an excellent transition to full-day kindergarten.
